I photographed dancer/choreographer Spencer Liff for a fashion editorial along with Nick Adams and Sabra Lewis. Check out a few of the hot shots here.
Liff is a New York based Choreographer and Performer. His choreography has been seen regularly on Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” and ABC’s “Dancing with The Stars.
Spencer won the Fred Astaire Award as “Best Male Dancer on Broadway” for his performance in Cry-Baby. His Broadway credits include 9 to 5, Equus, Cry-baby, The Wedding Singer, and Big: The Musical. His Film Credits include “Hairspray,” “Across the Universe,” “Gypsy,” and the re-make of “Footloose.” He has performed at “The Academy Awards“, “The Grammys,” “The Tonys,” and “The Kennedy Center Honors.”
The amazing Nick Adams, currently starring in Priscilla Queen of the Desert – The Musical in the lead role of Adam/Felicia on Broadway. I photographed Nick in late 2010 for a dance & fashion story. Working with someone of Nick’s talent was a pure joy.
The photo was shot in Bathhouse studios in the East Village, NYC. The image is pure, no manipulation in producing this amazing leap with shirt above the head and tie flying. Capturing that special airborne moment with an intense yet handsome look was a challenge but I’d say we Nail It!
Recently the image was donated to GLAAD OUTAuction in NYC and sold to raise money for an important and wonderful cause.
Dance Series: Nick Adams “Soar”
We would like to share a recent editorial 6-page poster in EMO Magazine (July 2010) of Tony Dovolani, professional ballroom champion and star of Dancing With The Stars.
